“Fenton & Fenton Pty Ltd (In liquidation) is now in liquidation with Adam Nikitins and Stewart McCallum of EY appointed liquidators,” a statement on the company’s website says.
The company was launched by director Lucy Fenton in 2008 with a showroom on High St, Prahan before expanding to a second location in Collingwood in 2019.
The business offered pieces for those looking to curate “a life less ordinary” by filling their spaces with “souvenirs of a life well-lived, a personality fully expressed, an imagination thoroughly explored”.
Frustrated customers have taken to social media to query what the liquidation means for their homeware purchases.
“I’m shocked! Awaiting my order … not sure I’ll see it now,” one woman said.
“Thumbs down for taking a pre-order and money on Sunday,” another said.
